A stainless steel guard is provided to shield wildlife from contacting the heating element. The rear fit power cord and neutral color plastic housing make for a low profile in the bird bath.

This submersible de-icer is perfect for buckets, pails, pans or bird baths. The unit comes with a stainless steel guard, six-foot cord, cord chew protector and built-in thermostat. An adjustable clamp is also included, which allows the user to attach the de-icer to the water container. This de-icer will de-ice a maximum of 15 gallons.
