Sandhill Crane Viewing Trip

Witness Nebraska’s Sandhill Crane Migration
More than 500,000 Sandhill Carnes converge on a 65 mile stretch of the Pallte River in Nebraska

Join your guides, Dave & Linda Titterington from the Wild Bird Habitat Stores along with the Pioneers Park Nature Center as we experience one of our planet’s most spectacular wildlife migrations. Visit the Nebraska Nature and Visitor Center, travel rural roads to see the cranes foraging and dancing in the fields, then watch and listen to them return to the Platte River at sunset from a Rowe Sanctuary blind. The fee includes van transportation, dinner at Burchell’s Whitehill Farmhouse Inn, and cost for a spot in the blinds at Rowe Sanctuary. Must have the ability to walk uneven trails in low light with a guide. Registration and payment required by February 21 for blind reservations.

Thursday, March 20 / 11:30 am – 11:00 pm
